I look into my closet and I see empty steel shoulders,
I look onto my table and I see empty cup holders,
I look into my pocket I feel empty cigarette lighters,
I look into my heart and I see black widow spiders.
I look into my shoes and I see ones I can’t fill,
I look into my yard and I see my brain on the grill,
I look into my room and I see fog all around,
I look into my past but it cannot be rewound.
I look into my mirror and I see nothing at all,
I look into my window and I see a brick wall,
I look to my left and I see that nothing is right,
I look to my right and I see that nothing is left.
I look into my future and I am already there,
I look into my TV and I see only a glare,
I look into my life and I see a road in construction,
I look further down the road at an unmovable obstruction.
