Why does everything have to end this way
I hoped it would all be clear by now
But there is just no one there to clear the way
The way to find the meaning behind the lies
There's no purpose to the life we live
But there is a meaning to the place we have
There could not be anything more to blame
For the way society has become
No one is really important in this world
But the function they execute is all too important
To keep the superiors on thier throne
Ignorance is the curse that we all suffer from
Why must we continue on to fulfill the destiny of others
There's no point why should we comply
We must take back what is ours

Very De La Rocha in its presumptions. I get the sentiments . . . but don't include me in your definition of the accursed ignorant - unless of course this is irony, and I'm fulfilling the destiny of this here poem . . .
Intriguing . . . |
