And so we chat every day and every night
I feel like if you are so close, yet out of sight
I wonder how we still find something to talk about
But for how long, I may never find out
You are my friend that never talks or yells
Tell me, do we have feelings or we’re just empty shells?
For whatever it takes, you put a smile on my face
And where you just walked, be sure you left a trace
Just know that every day you live, the sun will set in the end
So choose wisely how to pass it and the time you spend
But how much would you value a friendship like this?
Maybe it means nothing and leads to nowhere
Still with my words I send you a kiss
And I want you to know that for you I care.
