Bless you devine for this brand new year,
to exercise my choices and banish my fear.
thankyou for this chance you have given to me,
that allows me to breath and permits me to be.

god bless this body that i have rarely cherished,
that carries my soul and has not yet been perished.
for each glass of water and every cooked meal,
and my ability to experiance,love sense and feel.

for the morning that dawns as i open my eyes,
illuminating my world,brightening my skies.
for the rains that nourish all that they touch,
for this life you have given me..thank you so much.

Heya, I like this alot. To be honest I'm not usually a fan of heavy rhyming schemes within poetry, but this has blown away my expectations. It's a real development of the things everyone thinks about at new year but never has the words to explain. So I think it rocks. If you have any apare time I would really appreciate it if you could comment on ky poem- 'fevorous embrace', coz I'm new here and would love to have some comments on it. thanks
