Why hate on me?

Topic: AngryPoetry

I did grow up in the hood so what?
I said I did grow up in the hood.
So I do write about the hood and growing up in the projects sumtimes
I was on welfare and my parents worked more than one job
They didnt stay together my whole life
I do know about playing punch ball on the pot hole laced streets
Tasted government cheese and was in a department of social services
What is my point?

I’m tired of mother *****s judging me because they grew up with more money then me
Every school I walked into I was one of three white kids that lived in the hood so ***** you
I am so tired of hearing that *****
I have no silver spoon
I worked for wat i got unlike most of you
Don’t hate on me because there were more blacks than whites in my town
I lived in the hood most of my while life

Why hate on me?
I never hate on you cuz u got more money then me.
Or your excess of home training
Or the fact that you speak the same way to everyone
I treat everyone the same
I never ever acted better than you
came from the streets
You do you and I’ll do me
I just want to know why hate on me?
