My Dignity

Contributed by EverlastingDawn on Monday, 3rd January 2005 @ 06:27:24 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I want to tell you
But I can’t

You’d think I’m stupid
I know you would

I’m not as stable
As you are

Not as confident
Not as at ease with myself

I don’t know as much
As you do

I have questions
Yet too afraid to ask them

Questions that burn in my soul
And plague my mind

I’m so confused
With no way to get answers

Only if I ask you
But that I cannot do

Because you would laugh
I know you would

Because
I know you

So just to keep my dignity
I’ll never know the truth

Just ask, love. You'll be much happier when you do. There's no dignity in running blind when you could see the light. And how do you know you don't know as much? Perhaps you just know other things. You exist to learn, and you learn through questioning. It's ok, hun. We don't bite! ;-) Besides, just laugh back at them, no one's perfect.:-D

*hugs and luck*
Gigi

hard times are always long for those who least deserve it. but yeah i agree w/ prev.comments:
dont give up
if theyre truly hopeless and never come around, theyre not worth it and theres someone better out there.
either that, or test out on them how good you are at the silent treatment.
