Glass faces...
Torn, pieces lay fading.
Tears form, blood drips from ivory faces.
Marble statues, screaming in gardens.
Chess pieces lie abandoned and broken on park benches.
How beautiful creations much suffer.
How we make them.
Take their lives and break them.
Stealing their souls from ivory faces.

Unconventional, free verse, abstract and experimental.
-or so in my opinion!
Your descriptive vocabulary provokes detailed imagery...rather effectively!
This piece reminds me of cemetery visits!
I believe that only the creator can produce beauty, giving them the only right to break beauty.
A powerful and meaningful piece.
Your fan. |
