WHEN DAD DROPS IN

Momma ain't far behind
this angel family
of mine
In wee hours
Momma gets up fryin rabbits
Daddy shot last nite,
she's fixin her coffee cup.

Dad would
lay in bed
till hot bisquits
fried rabbit tortured
his head. Mom
served him in bed.
Ofcourse me,
a nite owl neva
wanted to get up eva.

The longer that
fresh rabbit sizzled
could wake any
one up momma's
vitals.
Soon as our tummys
gently roared
our feet are
searching the floor.

When dad-n-mom
pops in our home
Many memories flood
into this heart.
Angels always at
our beconning call
neva too late
to break our fall.
