she cries

Contributed by brokenwings on Monday, 3rd January 2005 @ 01:44:51 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She sits all alone remembering the many times she needed a friend,
her tears stain her pillows over night, longing to be held tight.
longing for love, longing for warmth, and needing him to finally see,
for him to see how she feels, and to see her pain,

but with each tear she cries, she only hears more lies,
lies from him, lies about him, lies lies lies...
and with each and every tear she cries, and she cries,
he promised her he'd be there tonight,
yet one more night it didn't happen,
how does she react, full blown anger attack,
but is it really anger or just her pain,
her pain he continusually causes,
and she curses him, cries to him...
all night long she calls him, only to fall asleep hugging her telephone,
and the tears she cries he never see's

In time this pushes him further away,
but he was already gone,
she waits for him to come back,
and in time he does but only for a while then he uses lies and games
to walk out on her once again,
If she could only see how beautiful she really is,
and not waist her time on men like this
