BirthdayPoems

No one called me Monday night,
At least I got a card.
On that day my spirits should have been bright,
Why is my life getting hard?
This seems like a lost birthday,
I feel I've been forgotten.
What have I done to them? Nothing to say,
I don't like being this lonely, it makes me feel rotten.
I call them
When they reach a new age,
I still love them
When they seem far away.
Can't these people at least remember me once?!
Why do I do all the work?
I've paid my due.
Maybe I need some distance,
This seems so berserk,
But I will not cry and sulk
Over these so called friendships.

"But I will not cry and sulk
Over these so called friendships" no reason to either. my old saying used to be, "why care about those who dont care to be there" well happy belated birthday =] |
