As the church bells ring welcoming the new year,
I decide to go over the things that I did last year.
I see I haven’t done much,
One thing stands out…I met you,
your entry in my life was an unexpected punch.
Even before I could know you more,
I felt I didn’t need to know you more.
It seems through ages we have had these
silent conversations without meeting each other,
finally we met each other.
Life loves playing games,
in a few months of meeting each other…you left…
life finally did play its game.
What about me?
Now I console myself with the silent conversations
that I have had with you before and daily.

This piece is so beautifully sad...a heart wrenching emotional tale of lost love...Excellently written, and beautifully told and expressed...Excellent
