I am too fast, you could never overtake me
Much too slow to leave you behind
I feel your breath on my neck - like burning oil
Aurora on my skin
Should I just stop, turn around, look you in the eye
And see that it’s not you, but a figure wearing your mask
The night and the pale moon would soon smother my doubts
I’d fall into that figure, become one, to finally drown in her.
