Suicide

Things don't seem right,
And I feel that emptiness again,
The once shallow cuts,
Have been reentered for the hundredth time,
The blood covers my walls,
And the screams go through the roof,
I harness the little humanity I have,
To make it a slow painless death,
My wrists drip ruby blood,
As I lie down in the cold bath water,
I breathe one final breath,
And then I leave this world,
The cries are never heard,
And the sirens seem to die,
As they take my cold body,
To the closest morgue.

I have come to learn that the days that you wish you were dead, the days that you don't smile, the days you wish you never got out of bed, are actually the most beautiful days. If life didn't hurt and was not hard, there wouldn't ever be emotional poetry by bi-polar poets. Good write. I think you learned the same thing. |
