Do They Try to Hide it (Like Me)

Contributed by Naughtygurl on Saturday, 1st January 2005 @ 08:27:11 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Tears,
They fall like rain
off of my face.....

I try to hide my pain.
But it seeps through
my veins.....

The little drops
from the sky are
like angels tears
But why would angels cry?

And the lightning
is that all the pain
they feel inside?

And Do they try to hide it like me?

I really enjoy the strong message you have painted here in just a few short verses. The emotional content was felt by this reader and the image came to life through my minds eye. I must say it disgust me that most og the poets on this site think by saying something like, Good Job, I hope you get to feeling better is a good comment but that is sad. On my other sites of poetry fellow poets leave an actual message that help build one another and give you a few sentences to read and not just a couple of words. I have so many more poems in my library and refuse to post any more on this site because I am sick of seeing the same two word responses from fellow poets here. I do want to Thank You for sharing a little of yourself and especially your wonderful talent of poetry with the world and your fellow poets. As I now part, I have a special request for you from all of us. Please, keep your creative pens ink flowing so your beautiful poetry keeps growing. Your reading Fan, MickeyPigKnuckles :)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
