the nature of death....

the sky was grey
her eyes were fading
crimson rain was falling
it was thick and oddly familiar...
something like the liquid in her veins
flowly slowly at first then faster
the thunder was crying out to her--
screaming her name lilke a banshee
foretelling the death of her heart
how it would fall crash and melt
the hills beneath her rolling in anguish
despair was lighting the skies
yet she could not see before her
hate was consuming her eyes.....
forcing them to drown in a milky haze
turning towards what was once the sun
she blinked and stepped off the cliff
and fall into the freedom of death.

Well, I just think it's pretty cool stuff.
Dane (deadreckoning1983)
comes up with stuff on the spot
too,
so that's okay.

It was a little unclear and shifty at first, but i think the ending makes up for it. |
