Night's Late, Twight Parade

They came from
Under the shadows
Leaving me
Here in fear
They were like
A breeze of air
So quick
To disappear
It is raining
Something dreadful
On the
Night's late,
Twilight parade
Will this place
Ever be safe
From the prisoners that dwell
In the black walls of its cell?
Will we ever know?
Will we ever know?
Not if we sever
Our connection to the unknown
