I made a promise in November
Which I thought I could keep
But these kind of promises
Aren't meant for the weak
The promise was that I wouldn't cut
I made this promise to a friend
I guess I was just desperate for someone who cared
Because now I'm feeling a second wind
It's cool on my skin it plays in my hair
It whispers in my ear
The sound of my suddenly throbbing temples
Maks it almost impossible for me to hear
I can hear my pain from all my past torture speaking
I can feel the teardrops from the promise I made
It's leaking...
A silent war breaks out in my head
It's between the Devil and my Angel
My sweat soaks the bed
I can only think of the promise that I made
A promise I intended to keep
But promises are for those who aren't weak
I am indeed my friend...but a freak...
