Somewhere there must be an Island un-discovered Island, Where the brightness on my face comes from the sand. Where there is no grief, Where I can life free. As a single tree who seems alone, The branches are as my thoughts they set the tone. Where the nights are cool the days are warm, I can feel like I'm re-born. Where the waters pure as my heart would be, Everythings there that I would need. Maybe I could have a friend come there, Only two are all I could bare. The only law that I would choose, Is that you must be you. Where I can sleep and dream of youth, Words that are spoken are the truth. Somewhere, Theres an Island shinning in the sun, Where theres no sadness where life can be fun.

| I could relate alot to this poem. I have always been looking for a place like this, however I don't think it exist. But I think you can make it happen with the right person by your side something close to it in this world. Good write as always. |
