Wake Up To The Reality

I’m not sure what happened today
All my blue skies sudden turned gray
I died inside… not once… but twice
And I said some things to someone I love that wasn’t very nice
I hurt the rose of my heart…
She withered away… then fell apart
She said some things back to me
That quickly cut me to my heart
I just walked away…
A tortured soul in burning flames
I don’t know what to say or do anymore
That’s going to make a whole hell of a lot of difference
‘Cause I’m damned if I do… I’m damned if I don’t
I guess…
I need to wake up to the reality
Not everyone is like me
A God fearing… forgiven sinner
Lost… in a world of utter and senseless chaos
I want to try and help save every lost soul I see
I want them to know the love that God has for me
I want to help God sow an unknown seed
And help to cultivate it to grow
So the love of God… they… too… can know
I just need to wake up to the reality
Some things… I guess… just aren’t meant to be
Like loving some one… who doesn’t love you back
Oh… I’ve certainly have been on that track
I am not the perfect soul
Not by a long shot…
I have made my share of mistakes and screwed up alot
I am just a wanderer
Wandering this old earth
Finding along life’s way
Many lost souls… with nothing in their hearts to say
For they have never heard
The story of the babe… or His lowly birth
It’s a story that through the ages has been told
And for centuries has not gone cold
But I’ve got to wake up to the reality
Some people don’t want to open their eyes and see
The child that has been born
Who would soon wear a crown of thorns
Nails to pierce His hands and feet would soon be driven
And His side would soon be riven
From a lowly manger to a cross
He would soon die for those souls at a loss
He would pay the ultimate cost
For all the sins of the lost
To wipe away all their hidden guilt and blame
To wash away all their unknown shame
So they won’t have to walk in life’s eternal flames
But… I need to wake up to the reality
Not everyone is like me
A God fearing... forgiven sinner
Lost in a world of utter and senseless chaos
I just need to wake up to the reality
Some things… I guess… just aren’t meant to be
Some people don’t want a gift
That’s freely given
They want to struggle and live life by a knife
They want to bleed…
They want to die…
For no rhyme or reason…
Rejecting the unconditional love God freely gives in all seasons
I just need to wake up to the reality…
Not everyone is like me…
Not everyone wants to know their Lord and Savior
Not everyone has experienced His love and favor
Not everyone has opened their blind eyes to see
That God really does love them
No matter who they are or what they’ve come to be
Let them wake up to God’s stark reality…
Life without Him isn’t life at all…
Just a lousy imitation…
That breeds lies and frustrations
Where no love or truth can exist
Just a black hole of festering malignant cysts
That like a cancer spread quickly and grow
To ultimately cause the untimely death of the unwilling soul
Who would want to wake up to a reality such as this…?

Sweetie,
first it's not our job to save anyones soul 'cause all our souls belong to Jesus Christ.
He bought-n-paid for us all at calvry'.
Stop trying to save souls that's already been saved and be real friend.
Luving God and religion is two tottally difernet things.
Hang in there gril, you'll get it right.
huggs, smiles,
yo otha momma,

Hi
As a practicing heathen I must say I am quite happy to wake up in my festering reality! But sure I'll get mine when I die. Nice concept it must be hard to believe something so strongly and see it treated with apathy by so many.
