why do I feel like second best
why can't you just give it a rest
why are you putting our love to the test
I can't handle being second best
I see you watching her
and it makes me so unsure
I should be above the rest
I can't handle being second best
I'm the girl you are with
and yet I feel like fifth
like in my own house I'm a guest
I can't handle being second best
So go ahead and put me last
but it's gonna end way too fast
you shouldn't make me feel like this
i SHOULDN'T feel like second best
