The halls and through the glass

The halls await
the walls die silent
I walk between the rich of life
empty handed
Grey eyes swollen black
my eyes enchanted
i bare the rain
you wont look at
I can feel the light
stabbed by the darkness
dying in between the cracks
I follow you
my love
my honest
hoping that u will look back
a gift divine
a soul shed promise
may the ice
not melt.....
but crack
I will wait
hanging from the moon
back burnt by the sun
am i the only one
at the gates
turning to look back
watch their eyes die slowly
as the pass
cant see through the glass......

This poem seriously made me want to cry. And hug you. It's great, though - beautifully written. Good job.
