Sorrow

Sorrow:

She hides her feelings, she hides her true self
She hides her emotions, and no ones able to tell
She cannot speak, she cannot cry
She keeps her true voice, and continues to lie
She puts on a fake smile, and fools us all
She seeks my help, but refuses to call
She cannot confront her prominent fear
She want's a true smile instead of a tear
She hits dead ends when she try's to fight back
She's literally blind, for she can see only black and white
She's tiered of failure and tortured by evil laughter
She's being mocked now, before, and after
Is there a solution to her mysterious trauma?
For, she's tiered of living in a life full of drama
She continues to cry, she continues to hide
Is there really an end to this knot that can't be untied?

powerful poem. very captivating and expressive. written so well that the repetition of she at the beginning wasnt noticed, and i usually notice things like that because they usually annoy me. but i didnt notice it in this poem. sometimes people change, but many do not. the only thing to make your friend change, is for her to want it bad enough. the first step is for her to realize and have motivation to change to be better for herself. many people cant even realize, so that is why many people dont change.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
