A Dream I had

Contributed by Jenn2004 on Tuesday, 28th December 2004 @ 06:26:25 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Im sitting in the back of a classroom, i look out the window, its a warm sunny day,
Im looking at the students, but i cant hear what they say,
Im looking at the teacher, she wont even talk,
I get up from my desk, as i start to walk,
I start walking out the door and everythings still cool,
As i look around at the familiar surroudings i realize im back in my high school,
Im standing around the others as we are in the hall,
They was all acting normal, and i was standing against the wall,
Then all of a sudden, a girl comes out from nowhere,
I never seen her before, I didnt know she was there,
I never really got to look at her face,
She pulled out her gun and started chasing me all over the place,
I ran away, and i hid in this strange place,
Im not at my School anymore, but i see another face,
She speaks to me, and i can hear what she had to say,
She told me to follow her, that she knew the way,
I follow her and we are being chased again,
I wonder why this dream does not end,
All i wanted to do was to wake up,
This dream freaked me out, i already had enough,
Were still running its like we are in a maze,
Im just running around like im in a daze,
That girl i was hiding with is now gone,
Now i had to face this on my own,
Kids were running around crazy and running out of the School,
And i was found again by that crazy fool,
She points the gun and shoots at me,
I didnt hear the gun go off, but the windows was shot out that i could see,
I dont know where she went, but i ran back inside, and couldnt not believe what i had to see,
Please let me wake up, its not what it has to be,
I watched her point a gun in a room full of kids,
I woke up before i saw what she did

When I have dreams like that I pray 'cause u never know whts gonna be next. It's the day-n-age we live in. I give your dream 2 God and jus know there's always gonna be heart ache in this world.
It's really good that u wrote it down 'cause jus might make someone think before they act.
Great job.
luv, huggs, prayers, smiles,
emy
