A mouth to laugh at God

Grass is green
Grass is epic.
Grass is epic because it sweeps in the wind,
and when sleeping, grass is small.
Although my eyes sense the great green rivers
that brush against the wind, my mind calls them nothing,
or perhaps earth, or ground.
But I remember how the grass would tickle my feet,
and I, a child, would pry open this world with shovel
or spoon and see that the grass was only as I was,
except green with no hands and no feet
or a face to cry its pain
or a mouth to laugh at God.

Interesting write, playing but words looks like fun, and very daring, I liked the picture your painted with your choice of words used, cool poem. |
