Take a glimpse
Into my future
And tell me,
It there anything for me?
Anything worth staying in this
Cold, harsh world for?
Dancing to someone else’s tune
Can’t break the puppet strings
Can’t break free
Can’t get away
Come angel of death
And take me away
Place your icy fingers on me
And take my soul

this is really good, I get the whole being controlled and the only way out being death. Very nice work, I also like the way you used the word angel to associate with death it gives me a feeling that she's helping with the controling person, I've also felt controlled If you will read any of my poems I'd like you to read bad trip it's kinda like having someone control you for so long that it haunts you read to find out ok but any way your poem was really good for your second poem written keep it up

wow, and this is only your second write? ur awesome, seriously when i read this poem i was blown away. its written so simply but is so powerful...i really love it and can relate to your words...most of my poems are about dying and I havent been writing for long either. ur brilliant,i love this.
