My fairy tale

Contributed by deathly_rose on Monday, 27th December 2004 @ 05:50:37 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Thinking of my past love life,
looking at what had happened...
looking for answers to my many questions,
answers in which I shall never find.
The things that had happened,
the loses that were made,
the things that I sacrificed,
all for a guy who didnt know what to do.
A guy who didn't know how to treat me,
A guy who didn't know how show me how he felt,
A guy who didn't know how to speak to me,
A guy who didn't know how to touch me,
A guy in which I put my faith.
Everything I needed,
was shoved down the drain,
Ever going in circles.
My life became repeditive,
with a kiss here,
a hug there,
and an "I love you" in between.
Daily I lived a lie,
wondering when things would get better,
when they'd turn into my dream,
my fairy tale.
My life became a nightmare,
far earlier than it would ever,
become my fairy tale (will my life ever become a fairy tale?).
Will I ever get my happy ending,
will I ever find Mr.Right...
I look everywhere I go,
hoping to come across him,
though nobody has come.
Lies have been spread,
many words have been said,
but nothing in truth,
for I know my youth.
This life seems never ending,
my life is a a circle,
never comming to an end,
never achieving my fairy tale.
There ae no happy endings,
only stories to be told,
only fairy tales; only lies.

good poem very often I am waiting for "Mrs.
Right" to come along and she never does. I
think many people can relate to this poem
and just know that one day your guy will come
along and realize that you have hopefully
learned from the mistakes you made with the
guy you speak of in this poem. Keep up the
writing.
