My Orion

What happened to my Orion?
He'd shine when I had a good day
He was my good luck charm
No one could stand in our way

I'd look for him every night before bed
And woulnd't leave until he was found
Orion never changed and was always there
Though he never made a sound

On the night when the sky was crystal clear
Orion was glistening proud
But when it rained and stormed and snowed
He was nowhere to be found

My Orion was always there protecting me from harm
I could tell him anything
But since he realized that I'm a freak
He's abandoned me like everyone else

Come back my Orion
Please don't leave me alone
Without you I'm afraid of the dark
I'm scared to be alone

So sad...great poem though. Really nice flow.
