And sometimes I will close my eyes
And see the way it was before today
Before yesterday and the day before
And years and years have gone by
Before I can open my eyes

Don’t try to hard
It’s not the same and you know it
Four eyes and two heads
Stand out in the normal world

It was always about you and you know it
I move, spin, and turn around
But always seem to fall right down
Without going the distance

Its can’t be that easy
It’s all the same and you know it
Normal is the way to go
Even when you can no longer fake it

When everything no longer matters
Flowers, tears, sex, and dying all blend
It never seems to change the way we live
It never seems to change

Say goodnight to all the people
Because it is the end
