Exits Revisited

Contributed by saint858 on Monday, 27th December 2004 @ 03:14:56 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I need rest.
I am tired.
The deep sea looks friendly.
Can she help me sleep?

I need rest.
I am tired.
The sharp knife looks able.
Can it help me sleep?

I need rest.
I am tired.
The poison pills look simple.
Can they help me sleep?

I need rest.
I am tired.
Sleep looks so pleasant.
But can it find me peace?

For I hold
Nothingness
Like a burden on my back.

I hope
To exchange
My hopelessness
For the comfort of
Goodbye.

Leaving means leaving it like it is
in its emptiness
Staying is everthing
Stay and leave footprints ..
I like your poem a lot
With love Pia
