Invading My Mental Facilities

Contributed by Lee on Sunday, 26th December 2004 @ 08:17:32 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Zebba White:

I know what I know
And white wings are flapping so slow
Why don't you just let us all go?
Let us have our minds
We will be fine
If you let our lives unwind
Tell me, are you an agent of the Senses?
Do you work under their benevolent pretenses?
I want to know for my own defenses

Lollygag Brutus:

Maybe he's an entity all to himself
Maybe he doesn't work for anyone else
The sky eat him up!
Pigs fly on his nasal hair!
He's coming near you, Zebba
Don't let him get to you, be aware

The Memory Holder:

You're very lively without the full capabilities of your minds
I think I shall keep you this way
You may never know who I really am
But I will tell you who you are today
You are all agents for the Arrangement of Senses
It is you who work under benevolent pretenses
You really have no defenses
You're defenseless
You're Sense-less
I'm going to give you the chance to change sides
But never will I give you back your artificial minds

Sally Astronomicle:

Can it be?

Lollygag Brutus:

We're not so free?

Zebba White:

Truly, can it be?

The Memory Holder:

Man, you must see!
Look what they have done to you
That's why I have come to you
This is a very needful hour
When you must escape the greedful StarFlower
He is after all of your mind's power

The StarFlower:

So he has made
A case against me
He has told them
That they did not see
He is invading my mental facilities
So that I cannot receive
All of what they communicate

Arrangement of Senses:

We must eliminate this threat
He has not defeated us yet
What do they know about him?
How much can they know?
He challenges even the StarFlower
He is our greatest foe

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
