You are no better then the wrath of my tongue,
Hung in shields of a thousand murdered through a song.
A psychotic spear of anger undressing its facade,
While meaningless emotions cling on just for the raid.
You are the drive that keeps me on the tip of my toes,
A ready-made fire bomb stretching time until it explodes.
My hand keeping the grip upon my weapon of metal,
Holding on to death itself in this stage of battle.
Beating through the tormented and the devastation,
Peeling off my dignity and skin in fabrications.
My heart struck by a dager became branded and tattooed,
You keep up that man vs man equalation attitude.
I hope my vulgar expressions eat you alive on the inside,
Im ready to play dirty, my momma warned me of your kind.
If your noise seems unusually sympothetically pathetic,
Im first to remind you that you are your own worst critic.

I'm with you on the anger thing... though I wouldn't call it 'worthless', not entirely... maybe distructive perhaps, irritating or... something. But yeh... point taken.
You got my brain turning with this piece. I like the opening line a lot - and this... "A ready-made fire bomb stretching time until it explodes" ... I can relate to. I know a few people like that. And this piece, assures me that you most certainly know at least one of them yourself. Here's hoping you can avoid the line of fire...
Interesting work - keep writing,
SNM
(oh and... is "equalation" really a word?) |
