A Broken Heart (10202)

Contributed by ShadowsLuster on Friday, 24th December 2004 @ 11:31:03 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Passion is fire,
It's your upmost desire.
It burns in the heart and soul,
When it's shot it takes a lot to console.

Don't keep it inside,
'Cause that's just making you hide.
It may be hard to come out of the shell,
But if she says yes it may ring a bell.

Your heart will start boom'n n' zoom'n,
You'll jump off the walls.
You'll feel as if you've never been hurt at all.

But she said no and I don't know if I'm ever gonna know
What it is to know,
When someone feels the way you feel about them.

And when she hits you with her hurtful words,
It burns.
It's like a bullet through the heart.
It sprays and squeezes your blood,
The blood of your passion and soul.

Love is a dangerous field of life,
It almost always strikes.
Don't do this to your best friends,
It may end up also hurting them.

It's hard to find,
But always keep this in mind,
Love hurts... most of the time.

For being your first poem ever, it's not bad. My first poem ever wasn't good at all. Maybe one day I'll have the courage to share it with everyone...but let's not count on it! :-)
