Am i doomed to loneliness forever?
Doomed to remember all my past loves?
I ask myself these questions
While i suck the last drops of whisky
And stare at the knife contemplating the end
Why am i letting my loneliness win?
As it slowly suffocates my soul
I am left with little other choice
But to set my blood free, eliminate the darkness
To set my soul free! to finally see the light

I'm not really entitled to give advice yet because I just started at poetry for real, so i wont even attempt.
But I'll tell you this: I think it's powerful, I've kinda been in that position before. |
