Suffering Sadness

Contributed by Sirena_Degana on Friday, 24th December 2004 @ 07:04:17 PM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

Just to let you know...
I'm standing in a mirror...
With no face...
And no space...
Could this reflection be shattered any less.
Just me...
Jumping on a thin stretch of air...
If it breaks will you catch me...
In a thin red hoodie...covered in sleet...
I stand next to you...
shivering from the cold...
shut your mouth and listen to me tremble...
like an earthquake I split wide open...
spilling over the lies....
and the back I see that should be your face.
No one hears me...
You suffocate me...
And that gift of breath I thought you gave sincerely
Floated away with all the lies you mentioned.
To me...
To her...
To him...
To them...
...To you...
