The Pledge of Allegiance... Redefined

I, as a proud American, promise my devotion and loyalty to the
United States of America,
Recognizing her flag as a symbol of freedom and
the greatness of our country.

I pldge also my support of her government,
of which I am part as a citizen and free to voice my political opinions through
elected representatives.

I acknowledge the fact that this nation
was founded upon the principles of
The One True God,
Whose mercy ALONE is the success of our liberties
by which we can call ourselves one, strong, nation,
Unwilling to divide,
with freedoms for all who will have them
and the privilege to know and act upon
that which is just.
