If I Could
Nothing but blue skies
Popcorn clouds
Green grass and blossomed trees
Never a lonsome cry
Newborn babies forever loved
Mom and dads holding hands
Grasshoppers and butterflies
Toddlers toddle with a boom boom
Smiles and giggles all the day
Brother John gets along with sister mary
It would never be cold
Snow flakes falling of cotten candy
Little miss teen would say;sure Mom I will help with the laundry
Big brother teen would be as sweet as a red red strawberry
Families would grow ever so close
Friend and stranger treated as if family
There would be no hatred or pain
Friendship is a form of love
A stranger is a friend to be
No one would ever go hungry
If when it rained it would be a warm sprinkle
Just in the eveling for a while
The air would be fresh and pure
The aroma of flowers everywhere
Every eye would twinkle
Sadness would never be
A rainbow stretching from sea to sea
If only I could
But wait I can start now
Wouldn't you ?
In the little space where I live
You could help
Wouldn't you ?
Lets all pray to the God of our belief
This is what the world was ment to be

There's no harm in searching for ideals. I like the almost childish vision of the world that is painted by this poem. Thanks |
