The corners of your mind

Contributed by LevyMetal on Thursday, 23rd December 2004 @ 03:52:35 PM in AEST
Topic: sarcasticpoetry

Your finger lingers back and forth and i hesitate
From across the table of seperation I speed our heart rate
Up the blood flow and breathe thine own air
Remind myself again that you arnt really there
Among the almost-on-the-brink-of-beggining of my mind
I break my pencil for the better of drawing two thin lines
Your hand rubs back and forth across my right thigh
Next to you i grab your neck, give temptation another try
The bible sits in mockery of once a better world
Or maybe i sit in mockery of the reality of a girl?
You want me to resist that wave of anger in your eyes
I'd rather take you in the closet and show you a good time
I'm sure enough no doctor and never got my PHD
But among my experimental research, I discovered STDs
Sexual Tension Disorder-release of what your holding back
The uphold of emotions, creates stress, is sure a fact
I've found it true on people who've glued open their eyes
Searching for everything but releasing nothing from inside
So it builds you to the tower you've fallen as today
So grab the nearest STD partner and just get laid
