Grandpa

GRANDPA

His hands were huge and gentle
his body standing tall,
His heart was always open
To all things big and small.

I hardly saw him angry
Yelling or upset,
He was almost always happy
I never will forget.

He cared about his family
His animals and his friends,
And if they ever argued
He always made ammends.

I will always remember
Your smile and your touch,
And how tight around my hand
Your long fingers would clutch.

I'll miss the way you loved me
And how you were sincere,
I'll miss you very very much
But you always will be near

I love you Grandpa.

Love,
Ashley
