Wandering shadow
A lonely silhouette in the night
Eerily creeping down the hall
As if searching for light at the end of a tunnel
Mystery crowds around
This figure arouses questions in my mind
Not solid,
But resembling a cloud of smoke shaped into a some-what human form
A lost soul bound to find a way home
Seeking inner peace
Looming in the doorway
Staring wide eyed and wondering
Gazing upon its surroundings unsure
Cold sensations run down my spine
I’m waiting, watching
Watching, as it’s watching as if waiting for me…
