What happened?
What happened to us?
What happened to our friendship?
What happened to our love?
We used to be the best of friends,
I knew everything about you.
Now it seems we’re separated
By the seven seas.
I don’t know you anymore,
I merely know your name.
You’re never home to take my calls,
I’m always home to take your calls,
The ones that never come.
I thought we were best friends forever,
Nothing could bring us apart.
I really wish you would come back to me,
I don’t want to lose you,
I won’t let go.

this was borderline on redundancy. adding depth to this would make this overall better. seems like you are making statements, you arent writing poetry.
