Into Silence I must Slip

Contributed by SLiM_eLviS on Tuesday, 21st December 2004 @ 01:56:48 PM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

into secret i must slip again
and harmony must cease
so voilins, they begin to break
and silence again exists

because the cut outwears the blade
and the soul jumps out the chest
and my spirit must stop to breathe
and my love for you have rest

it was buried under dirt for those
that didn't see beyond your eyes
so your coldness quickly froze
the warmth which in me lies

so into silent love i lay
to sing that lullaby
and try to sit the cuts away
that will slowly make me die

so maybe i'll live yet again
with the secret in my mind
yet i know that deep inside of me
love for you is what you'll find.

so everything i was to you
i feel that you let pass
for him and him and all of them
that always put you last

no longer can i say i feel
no longer can i shine
no longer can i love you so
or wish that you were mine

for the pain is not my broken wings
or no wings on my back
but it hurts to have beautiful wings
and not know how to fly

so it's whispering love
and silent love's lullaby
that will consume your dreams
if ever you wish to fly

so goodbye my love says to the world
for in my heart its yet to hide
for it was drowned by the sea
and washed up by the tide
