Messy Little Struggle

Topic:
Grief
|
Locked in a vice,
Squeezing away personality.
Ooze and drip,
White wash reality.
No strength for struggle
No will to resist
Life long lived,
For this?
Wait it out,
For sweet release.
Wait it out,
For sweet relief.
Ooze and drip,
Messy little struggle.
Bit by bit,
Back together.
Drip by drip
Wait for it to pass,
Escape its grip
Free at last.
