We had each other and now no one true
We had so much and now so little
You say you’re better off and I say I am alone
You say its over and I know it’s the truth
I blame myself and my own distrust
I blame the thing that no one can change
We though something so beautiful could never diminish
We thought nothing would get in our way
You are the one who always has some one to blame
You always feel insecure and are afraid
I think this led to our catastrophic end
I think about how it was and how it can never be
What is in our past is set in stone
What used to be can never come back
What we had we knew was a lie and could never last
From what we had we must glow
Our different ways we will grow
