A Vampire's Dream

If only there was a way,
A way to save their soul,
But vampires thrive in darkness,
Waiting for Death to take it's toll.
And sadly in this darkness,
There is no time to wait,
For if there is a final death,
They'll only see the Devil's gate.
For all of their immortal soul,
There is no end in sight,
No good to beckon them to come,
No safety in the light.
During the all but death-like sleep,
Out of sunlight while it shines,
A vampire finds repose,
In the dreams formed in their minds.
But too bad it can't be real,
This hope they have inside,
For no matter all their kindness,
In the darkness they reside.
