With sound in breath and step in take,
They do the things of which they make,
Make of tools of things of stone,
Of which our trees and things are grown,
With light in eye and dark in touch,
They do some stuff and things of such,
Of such a wind in whipporwill,
Of things that land on windowsill,
With happy dreams and thoughts of night,
They make the things of which set right,
Set right the date and time of sea,
Of things that matter most to me,
They help not hinder all that's there,
And treat the tinniest things with care,
They do them right and right at first,
Making sure their hearts don't burst,
And when at last it do or don't,
The question will be, "Will or won't?"
