GREAT POET'S OF PAST

Ages past have brought forth
great poet's that last.
Each different but the same.
The love of one thing.
Words are written, each one
different from the next.
Arranged by great writers
and poets at their best.
Only a few in each life time
are given the prize.
The holy grail, if you will;
words are.
A expression,
A meaning,
A thought,
They give life to where
there was none.
People have wrote words
for thousands of years.
But only a few have mastered it
so clear.
I write from the heart to give
praise to the greats.
The master poets of ages
gone pass.
I may not always write as good
nor as great as they did.
I just wish to honor
their great works.
And so I just did.
