Lost one

Contributed by DanishPoet on Monday, 20th December 2004 @ 09:24:17 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

The lost ones are never heard, they are the ones that never will be.
The lost ones are those from the grave, those are the ones that no one wants to see.

Lost love, never ending.
Lost love, never forgiven.
Lost love, never broken.
Lost love, never repaired.
Lost love, never to be seen.
Lost love, never repaid.
Lost love, always the strongest.

When I see the ending nearing, I know what to do.
That will be the day that she will know, know what she never knew.
From the tower of mine I see her all day.
The night is no different, but in dreams she is mine.

Once I wake up, I can tell reality from dream,
once I wake up, once again I could scream.
Reality is my living hell, as long as she doesn’t know.
But what was I supposed to say? My heart still cries for a deadly blow.

Deadly as poison, haunting my soul.
So is the vision, of her and her fool.
Seeing his face, full of ignorance.

“Pearls weren’t meant for the swine”

My mind is filled with thoughts of vengeance,
and plans of how to get rid of the deceiver.
My mind lies and tells me that killing him is the answer.
My heart tells me that I am to be lost in darkness.

“When hell is the only alternative, how do you escape the burning pain?”

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
