Self-contemptous Suicide

Contributed by bopeep on Friday, 29th November 2002 @ 04:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Tears run down her cheeks,
As she wishses she could speak
To tell the world how she feels
Let them see as it slowly kills.

She wishes she could
She knows she should
But she fears,
She could not hold back the tears.

She closes her eyes,
Prepares for the fight.
Tears burning from within,
This war she cannot win.

They look at her with rage.
Wondering when she'll grow out of this stage.
They refuse to see, in fact they refuse to believe,
THat they had part in any of this.
They are the cause she cries herself to sleep
They are the reason she has become weak.

The tears have turned to blood.
Crimson red running down her arm.
Look at it burn on her skin,
Look at it flowing away.

From her tears you can look away
Now I ask you this:
Will you turn away now,
Now that the blood has stained the sheets.
Has stained the room in which she sit?
