Holiday Spirit

Contributed by kel6110 on Sunday, 19th December 2004 @ 07:06:57 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

Fresh scented pine air
Glowing candle light
Ignite the flame within
Sparkling Christmas lights
Sweet apple cider
Sounds of festive holiday joy
Reach within thy heart
Touch thy fantasy of dreams
Foiled shiny garland
Red velvet bows
Color the dull paleness
Brighten the colorless lives
Fresh soft white snow
Glistening silver snowflakes
Glittering ice crystals
Dinging silver bells
Shine in thy eyes
Freshen the melted grim
Blinding pure white blanket
Cover the anxious town
Awaiting holiday spirit
Magical wishes of sweet sugar plums
Astute handsome nutcrackers
Fresh baked holiday treats
Playful snowmen
Shiny Christmas bulbs
Warm the village singing with carols
Filled with awestricken eyes
Dance under the mistle toe
Tangy cranberry tartlets
Sweeten thy bitter breath
Fairyland fly with angels
Glide with peaceful doves
Fantasy becomes reality
In this wonderland of joy
Holiday celebration flow with love
Fill the empty river
Inspire this year with spirit
Holiday hope and wishful love
