I miss you, long after I lost you

Topic: LovePoetry

I miss you
I cried for weeks after I lost you
I never cried for any one the way I did for you
The memories of us laying under the stars
Hearing you say I love you
Just makes me weak in the legs
Looking deep in your eyes
It all seemed so true
You gave me something to believe in
I never thought your eyes could lie
I never thought they would lie
But I was wrong
You broke my heart and left me here to cry
Your eyes did everything to me
They shine like the stars we gaze at
Peaceful like the beautiful pastures
Beautiful like the snowy mountain peaks
I miss you
